Chocolate Cake 

 

600 g     Plain flour

500 g     Dextrose

300 ml   Cooking oil

300 ml   Milk

     5       Eggs

3 tbsp    Cacao powder

1 pkg     Baking soda  

1 pinch  Salt

  1. Pre-Heat the oven to 160°C
  2. Beat the eggs until fluffy with a hand-held mixer, add the dextrose and keep beating for a short while
  3. Add oil, flour, cacao powder and salt  and keep beating
  4. Add the milk to the mixture and beat further until everything is well mixed
  5. Fill the dough in a greased 26 cm cake pan.
  6. Bake it for about 50 minutes at 160°C
  7. Let it cool down on a cooling rack. When the cake has cooled down, you can ice it with chocolate icing..

Chocolate Icing

130 g   Dextrose

80 g     Coconut oil/coconut fat

80 g     Cacao powder

100 ml Cream 

            Vanilla extract      

  1. Melt the coconut fat in a pan, add the dextrose and let it boil shortly.
  2. Take the pan off the heat  and add the other ingredients. Mix well with a whisk.
  3. Ice the cake and let cool down, enjoy :)
