Quinoa-Amaranth squares


For a small baking tray:

30g puffed Quinoa

30g puffed Amaranth

1 egg

2 Tbl cocoa powder

2 Tbl rice syrup


  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees
  2. Mix all the ingredients together. If necessary add a bit more rice syrup to make the mixture stick
  3. Spread the mixture into the baking tray, lined with greaseproof paper
  4. Bake in the oven for approx. 20 minutes
  5. Remove from the oven , leave to cool slightly and then using the greaseproof paper as help, remove from the baking tray
  6. Cut into equal squares...enjoy :)
