Chocolate Cake
Ingredients:
- 360 g spelt flour

300 g corn sugar

180 ml sunflower oil

180 ml milk
-
3 eggs
-
1 tbsp cocoa powder
-
7 g baking powder
-
1 pinch salt
Directions:

Pre-Heat the oven to 160°C

Beat the eggs until fluffy with a hand-held mixer, add the sugar and keep beating for a short while

Add oil, flour, cocoa powder and salt and keep beating
-
Add the milk to the mixture and beat further until everything is well mixed

Fill the dough in a greased 26 cm cake pan.

Bake it for about 50 minutes at 160°C

Let it cool down on a cooling rack. When the cake has cooled down, you can cut it into small round shapes or squares and ice
it with chocolate icing..
Chocolate Icing

25 g corn sugar
-
1 packet chocolate pudding powder
-
250 ml milk
-
200 ml whipping cream
-
Make the pudding according to the packet, but with just 250 ml of milk and 25 g of sugar.

Leave to cool, covered with clingfilm to avoid a skin on the pudding

Whip the cream until stiff
-
Combine the cooled pudding and the cream bit by bit, to create a creamy and smooth topping
-
Pipe the topping on the cakes and decorate as wished
