Oat bars
For 6-10 Bars
100 g rolled oats (gf)
50 g ground almonds
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tbsp flax seeds
2 tbsp desiccated coconut
1 Tbsp cocoa nibs (optional)
100 g rice syrup
1 1bsp sunflower oil
- Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees

Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl

Slowly warm the Rice syrup and oil in a pan. Do not cook

Remove the pan from the heat

Add the dry ingredients to the rice syrup. Mix well

Place the mixture on to a baking
tray, lined with baking paper

With damp hands press the mixture to a firm square or divide in a bar form

Place in the oven for approx. 15 minutes, bake until golden Brown

Take out of the oven and leave to slightly
cool

While still warm, carefully cut into 10
bars. Leave to cool completely

Store in
an airtight tin
